CarMediaWorld at 66th IAA Cars in Frankfurt

With plenty of sunshine, exciting product news and a visitor increase of 6% the world’s most important trade fair for mobility surpassed the expectations of IAA organizers and exhibitors – it even overrode the consumer’s resentments due to the VW scandal. With a total of 931,700 visitors, there were over 50,000 visitors more than 2013 visiting the fair. That is, according to the show management, the best result in eight years. 1,103 exhibitors from 39 countries and 219 world premieres strengthen the position of the IAA as THE international trade fair for mobility.

The IAA slogan, ‘mobility connects’ sees the VDA comprehensively redeemed. The digitalization and interconnectedness of mobility has not only been a prominent matter for car manufacturers but also for OEM and retrofitting suppliers. In particular, the exhibitors of CarMediaWorld highlighted the increasing importance of automobile connectivity. With their comprehensive product programs around the retrofitting of mobile infotainment and networking convenience the companies ACV, Axion, Kenwood / JVC, Pioneer and Audio Design with the brand ESX, and Helix’s focused the drivers and passengers of 44 million older and second hand vehicles that are traveling on Germany’s roads.

At the CarMediaWorld cooperation the five premium suppliers informed stand about the benefits of retrofitting automotive infotainment and connectivity comfort. From the inductive charging of smartphones over reversing cameras up to Android and iPhone connectivity, the comprehensive exhibition portfolio presented virtually everything the In-Car Electronics aftermarket offers.

The next IAA cars will be from 14 to 24 September 2017 in Frankfurt.
