Even with a slight doubt about the concept, the first major trade fair after the Corona lockdown started on the first weekend in September. The enormous run on products and vehicles for individual holidays was a convincing reason for the implementation of the important industry event and participation in it. A comprehensive hygiene concept including a mask requirement in all halls was implemented to protect against infection so that the trade fair was safe.
300 exhibitors, spread over 10 halls, presented themselves to the 107,000 Caravan Salon visitors; that was about half as many as last year. This caused the positive effect that smaller, unknown manufacturers had a chance to gather a well-placed exhibition stand at the Caravan Salon. At the end of the fair, the organizer reports satisfaction among the exhibitors and good sales results – which 100% reflected the market trend. The EMMA partners JVC Kenwood, Dynavin and Pioneer presented their latest infotainment and comfort solutions for motorhomes and trailers. The accessories industry is particularly benefiting from the growing interest in vacationing with motorhomes or caravans and the demand for corresponding products.
